Whether you’re just testing the waters as a drummer or you’ve been playing the drums for years, we have drum lessons to accommodate any skill level. 

Our drum lessons are designed for students ages 4 and above. Whether you’re an adult or a child, our instructors offer private lessons that challenge your musical capabilities.

The various musical styles that our Salem drum instructors offer include: 

   • Rock

   • Pop 

   • Blues

   • R&B

   • Jazz 

   • Latin; and even

   • World Music

We teach drum lessons using a variety of percussion instruments and can focus on the ones that interest you most.

Sessions vary based on your experience, preference, and instructor recommendations. We offer 45, 60, and 90-minute drum lessons.

Currently, drum lessons at Northwest School of Music are open for enrollment throughout the year.
